Information on Surgery
 
Our physicians perform a variety of urologic surgeries.  Upon our determination that your child needs surgery, you will schedule the surgery and be given a surgical packet. 

In preparation for surgery, our families need to call our office to confirm their child's surgery, as instructed in the surgical packet that has been provided. 

On the day of surgery, the child should refrain from eating solids and drinking anything OTHER THAN clear liquids until the time given in your confirmation phone call.

We also see children for other urologic problems, that do not require surgery.  Below are a few of our most common complaints.  These handouts contain general guidelines only.  Please discuss any concerns with your medical provider first.
